What Makes a Good Happy Hour in Downtown Charleston?

Look for a room that fits a walk-in group of four without a wait, since after-work plans grow between 4pm and 6pm. Look for a bar with food, because a happy hour without something to eat turns into a rough evening. And look for somewhere you'd be happy to stay if the night keeps going.

That last part is underrated. The best after-work spot is one that can carry you from a quiet drink into a full night without moving.
